My Fatty's Birthday at Chynna - KL Hilton

His special of 6th June 2010, where should I bring him to celebrate? KL Hilton is one of the place which he used to mumbling beside my ears, but I used to bane this place for dining. Due to, today he is the KING, I have no objection for this place. So, i decided to bring him along for this chinese restaurant.

For me, Chynna is a modern + traditional restaurant. Overall, the ambiance was comfortable and occupied with traditional antique equipment. It others way, they serving for modern and palate dim sum.

Both of us were waiting for the dim sum. It took pretty long hours for waiting a dim sum

Keen in western and local food with authentic dessert, here with the place again Indulge Cafe. Has been visited for few times, cos of fews reason to bring me back again. The price were reasonable with huge portion. Beside that, the taste was fabulous! It's kind of a magic food from the magic chef's cuisine. The cuisine here, lead me to another category of culinary level. Extremely appreciate the food.

Gosh!!!! Surprisely amazing! I never ever had such a palatable pasta in my whole life. The pasta totally suck inside with the olive oil and garlic smell and some chili flake to enhance the taste. The freshness of the seafood consume together with the pasta. Encore~~

Chicken Sukiyaki

Sukiyaki is serving in a hot pot with dipping meat and simmer with vegetables. The soup is more to sweet taste. Usually, a raw eggs to beaten and dipped with the meat. But, i dont think it work in Malaysia, so we decided to pour the egg inside the pot. Due to my family member not advisable to consume beef, we rather replaced as chicken. Actually is goes well with beef for sukiyaki.

Minced Meat with Tauchu Sauce & Stir-fried Celery with Prawns

My last week cooking spirit still burn on, let's carry on for the burning. Today my home cooking were Minced Meat with Tauchu Sauce & Stir-fried Celery with Prawns. Against, was a simple recipe whose everyone of you can simply cook at home. But, make sure prepare the ingredients before you start.

The reason that i choise minced meat was, it's easy to cook :) and perfect match with rice (specially the tauchu sauce). You might request to add on your rice with this dish.

Minced Meat with Tauchu Sauce

Ingredints : minced meat, tauchu sauce, garlic (mashed), sugar, cili padi (as your own preference)

Cooking Method :

1) Put some oil to heat up the wok, then saute the garlic.

2) Put the minced meat to let it cook for 3 minutes.

3) Place the tauchu sauce and sugar, stir fried.

4) Pour some water to let it simmer for around 6-10 minutes.

5) When serving, advised to leave some sauce with the minced meat.

Tips: Reason to add some sugar is because the tauchu sauce was salt in base, so we need some sugar to balance back the taste.

Stir-fried Celery with Prawns

Ingredients : celery, fresh prawns, garlic, shao xin wine

Cooking Method :

1) Some oil to heat up, then put the garlic.

2) Follow by celery, salt and shao xin wine, cook it around 2 minutes

3) Place the fresh prawns and pour some water to simmer for 3 minutes.

4) Ready to serve.

Long time ago, has been promised my fatty to cook a meal for him. One year gone, 2nd years gone, third years...

**Pop** Is time for me to drag out from the lazy hole to elaborate my cooking skill.

Honestly, this is my first time cooking. (dont include for the college pratical)
Be frank, i'm cook lover. I'm keen in cooking. Beside that, i always believe my cooking is the best! (must self confident then only can spread it on my dished)

Here we start for my first dish.

Braised Chicken with Sliced Mushroom

Basic Ingredients : cut chicken, sliced mushroom, sliced ginger, sliced garlic, oyster sauce

Cooking Method : First, put some oil, then follow by the garlic, ginger and chicken. Cook the chicken for a while, then put the sliced mushroom, oyster sauce, salt and water to simmer. Simmer it with half portion of water until the chicken meat is tender and mushroom fully soak with the chicken juicy.

Stir-fried Green Bean with Dry Shrimps

Ingredients : green beans, dry shrimp(diced), diced garlic, oyster sauce

Cooking Method : Put some oi, diced garlic and dry shrimps(diced). Then put the green beans to cook togethers. Braised the green bean with water for around 3 minutes. Ready to serve.

Gosh, amazing to looked what i've done this afternoon. Thought it hard to cook a simple meal, but actually i was wrong. It just so simple and the point is you need to put some effort and passion on it. A passion meal maybe were not the best (since is my first cooking), but i'm belive in future my cooking skill might improve in advance. I'm talent in culinaire :P I'll carry on for my 2nd cooking diary.

Euro Deli is serving authentic european (Swiss German food). By leading their own factory with sausage as well. Selling the sausage, cold cuts available at few of the cold storage counter. Beside counter, running for restaurant too. Intially, I personal consider a PORK lover. That is no reason to stop me visited here.

Euro Deli located in the heart of KL. Properly you need to be more aware for the signboard, because the restaurant was quite isolated. Restaurant theme is orange color.

In this warmly Christmas, unexpected i received three lovely presents from them. Allow me to identify in detail, so that i'll bear it mind in future.

From Left : Merry Cranberry Body Butter & Merry Cranberry Airelles Festives (shower gel)

Shamed! Cos this present was forced by me from my Jonathan. Normally i wouldn't never expected received any special gift from him in special season. Pop! Sorry, not for ths year. Christmas's present keep appearing in my mind. Due to Jonathas was stuck on his busy working schedule, it hard for him to drag out some time to purchase for me. Finallt he did at Body Shop (one of my favourite brand)

Merry Cranberry Body Butter & Merry Cranberry Shower Gel

Opss...was used at the first day. The cranberry butter contain with full cranberry sweet fragrant. Spread in on ur body, the fragrant will long lasting till the next day. Even my bedsheet fully spread with it smell. Texute is not sticky, kind of cream type.

While i was rushing for my assignment. Suddenly my chef throw out an Isetan envelope in front of my desk. Dala...."here for your Christmas, Merry Christmas~". Such a sweet Chef, RM300 cash vouchers at Isetan. Yeah, i've free shopping at Isetan.

I believe most of the youngest will never miss out to celebrate for this special and happening day "Christmas Day". In this Christmas eve night was our Westgroup gathering again. Thanks for everyone initiative attending for this dinner. Felt grateful to meet all again. Since, we could have a crazy, nonsence, fool talk again.

Has been researching for few of the cafe, most of them were serving for Christmas set menu. Due to the high price, we opted this with RM 42.00++ course. Consider the cheapest that i found.

Thought i'll be alone for this saturday night. While i was still hiding inside my sweet dream, suddenly i woke up by his kiss. Yeah, Jonathan was force to take half day from his work, so he bring me to this restaurant which been open October 2009.

Brussel Beer Cafe, is divide to bar,restaurant and outdoor terrance section. They're serving for Belgian food and soul of their beer. Few variety of draught beers available at this cafe. Since yesterday was our Christmas party, my alcohol spirit still never end, felt like want to drink beer.

Fresh Draught Leffe Brune 1/2 pint, RM 18

Never thought i've a chance to try it here! Signature Belgian Beer should try. Fresh bubble with strong smell of the roasted malt and just like the smell of beer. Getting fall in love for this beer.

Tip: Right way to drink a beer is allow ur lip totally connect with the beer's bubble. That how you respect the beer

Crispy pork skin and tender, succelent meat. Skin was slightly salty. Actually this is a snack food for beer. That the reason they need to make it more salty

In surprised moment, Jonathan suddenly voiced out and act secrectly bring me to one place. Along the way, i guess i known the place that he gonna bring me over, The Yuzu.

This time we've our main task to visit here, cos of sea urchin! Jonathan has been reserve for one portion. Yeah, finally i had a chance to try this! Many time watch at the culinaire programe and felt so upsad never consume.

By the way, thanks a lot for Alex for his warmly treats. Dont complaints, cos most of the dishes you would never found in menu. Due to Alex special treats for us. Thanks lot, Alex

First, wrapped the sea urchin with roasted nori and place some wasabi to enhance the taste. My opion for sea urchin, it hardly for me to explain. Can felt the freshness of sea urchin and rare taste never had before

Was a holiday at my hometown. As usual, when we doing nothing and felt bored with the sunny afternoon, we went to a place was not too far distance - Melacca. In between, start our makan journey and lepak-lepak. It been a while, we never visited Melacca. Still remember, we have been visited Melacca for 3 times in two months time. It made us started to felt bored for this place. However, the spirit come back again.

The Loaf, when we're passed by, suddenly there was a strongly bread's smell was leading my nose to this bakery shop. Long queue at the main entrance whose just patient wait for mini cup cakes. Actually has been heard for a while for their mini cheese cake "U-Hu-Hu". Due to waiting for my cinema, why dont spend some time for my tea time here.

The Loaf mainly for breads and pastries and available for dine in or take away. Level 3 for baker shop, level 4 for restaurant. This is their second outlet, the first was located in Langkawi.

This was our 3 days 2 nights travel at Hat Yai. We self- drived from KL to Hat Yai. It spent around 5 hours for our journey. Luckily, we own our tough drivers - Ah Kee and Carlos. Thanks a lot folks! We stayed at Mayfower Grand Hotel, which located at the center of Hat Yai. Conveniet for shopping and hunting food

Our hotel's room with connecting room. Only cost RM120 per room. It was a new built hotel, everything was so clean and worth for money. Would recommend for everyone
